The good and the bad of my day


Buying this made me super happy today! I had a Ninja blender before this one and the gears froze up and it turns out Ninja does not make replacement parts and my warranty had expired :( after a lot of research I felt this was the best blender for the money. Since I'm sure you are all dying to know, I'll let you know what I think of it soon ;)

Then my happy day got a little less happy when I was hit in the parking lot and the other driver attempted to evade the scene. The police officer who helped me really saved the day! I don't think we give them enough credit for what they do. It isn't much damage at all and I'm super thankful it wasn't more serious, but it still frustrated me because we have only had the truck a few months. But that's how life goes, right? 
Then we headed home and I had a lot help with the dishes and dinner. 
And my day got a lot happier when this new recipe turned out amazing! Mexican stuffed sweet potatoes. So yummy! The picture makes them look gross but I promise it was so delicious! 
And I even got a good workout in today and Kaylee decorated the white board for everyone. She's so nice like that :) and I got to work out with Cody which is my favorite! He always pushes me to get new PR's. Today it was 125 lbs split jerk. I realize isn't much for most people but it's a lot for me! Other things of note are I did 5 pull ups in a row and 3 toes to bar. It's the little things people! 7 pull ups I'm out to get you next and 5 toes to bar! 
Anyway, it's been a long day and I'm exhausted. I hope to update more on what we have been up to but no promises!
